Mikel Arteta has opened up on the chest pain and dry cough he experienced while suffering from the coronavirus. The Arsenal boss, who has since recovered from COVID-19, has also detailed the way in which he set up a room and a bathroom while self-isolating as he fought the disease.

Arteta was the first high-profile name in British football to contract the coronavirus, which prompted the Premier League to suspend fixtures.

Arsenal also responded by closing the club's London Colney training ground, and sending players home to work off personalised programmes in isolation.
