Three more people in Greater Manchester have been confirmed as having Coronavirus it has been revealed today. That means four people from the region have now contracted the virus, also known as COVID-19.
The new cases in both Bury and Bolton were confirmed by public health and council officials today (Tues). Two of the people who have tested positive in Bury are known to a man from Bury who tested positive on Sunday.
The Manchester Evening News understands the male patient, who became the region's first confirmed case, tested positive after returning from Milan and Italy and self-isolating.
The person in Bolton is not connected to the Bury cases and is said to have become infected whilst they were in Italy. No more details have been
