A midwife who worked for the NHS for over 30 years died after contracting coronavirus. Linda Clarke, who had worked at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Wigan, passed away yesterday on Friday, April 17.
The 66-year-old had underlying health conditions, reports the Manchester Evening News. She is one of more than 50 NHS staff workers who have died since the start of the pandemic.
