CORRIE actor Simon Gregson is said to be off the hook over a boozy fight. A pal said police dropped their investigation into the ruck earlier this month.

Gregson, 47, who plays Steve McDonald, was spoken to by cops at a Toby Carvery after a boozy day at Aintree races. A week before, he was filmed shirtless being ejected from a bar in Manchester.

A pal said: “Simon has been told there will be no further action taken by the cops following the ruckus in the Toby Carvery. “It is naturally a welcome relief for Simon and those around him.
