Coronation Street's Johnny Connor set for soap exit as secret dark past exposed

When he leaves the pub, his daughter Carla Connor (Alison King) and her boyfriend Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will take over the reins.
Johnny decides to do a runner when a mysterious man returns from his past and tries to book into a room at the pub. Scenes set to air shortly will show the unknown man, called Scott, trying to rent a spare room at the Rovers.
When Johnny discovers Scott's around, he looks seriously panicked. It turns out that Scott is a bit of a dodgy guy that Johnny used to know, and the landlord isn't keen on bumping into him again.
