The chef - who is played by actress Shelley King in the popular ITV soap - has been told that she will have to stay locked up in her cell until her hearing and viewers are less than impressed with the judge's decision.
Over the past year Corrie fans have watched in horror as Yasmeen has had to deal with awful abuse from her husband Geoff. Last week she was finally pushed to the edge in an explosive row which ended up with her hitting him over the head with a bottle in self defence.
The chef was left horrified when was told she was being charged with the crime - despite the police knowing about Geoff’s abuse.
