The soap monster has kept viewers of the ITV soap on tenterhooks for the last few weeks as his controlling nature sees him continually intimidating wife Yasmeen, from forcing her to clean her home to eat her pet chicken.
And it was Corrie’s recent, dreary scenes which caught viewers off guard, causing tears among fans. Villain Geoff, played by Ian Bartholomew, forced Yasmeen to worship him on her knees before telling her icily: “I’d rather see you dead than with someone else.” Yasmeen, played by Shelley King, plotted an escape, but Geoff clocked what she was up to and forced her to.
