Tim Metcalfe might be convinced that Geoff is an angel right now, but he is set to find out the dark truth about his dad on Coronation Street.

The mystery surrounding Tim's mum Tessa will be explored over the next few months as Yasmeen is set to go to trial. Yasmeen (Shelley King) was forced to defend herself after husband Geoff backed her into a corner, however Geoff has since lied about what happened and said that she attacked him unprovoked.

And while Tim is firmly in his corner at the moment, he likely won't be after hearing that he has been lied to about his mother all these years.

Speaking to Mirror TV and other publications last week, soap boss Iain MacLeod teased that Geoff's past will come back to haunt him.
