The country's top soaps will not shut down like last summer – despite the UK entering another national lockdown. It appears EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street are to carry on filming despite the latest strict government coronavirus restrictions.
It's great news for the show's fans after some didn't air during the first national lockdown. Viewers feared a repeat of what happened three months into the first lockdown last year as shows were suspended or reduced to just a handful of episodes every week.The Sun reports that the cameras will continue to roll and there is unlikely to be watered down production over the months ahead.
