Conor McGregor has been warned he will face another defeat if he agrees to a "stupid" trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier. Irish superstar McGregor won his first fight with Poirier in 2014 but suffered the first knockout of his career as the American triumphed in January's rematch.
The former two-division champion is the most popular star in mixed martial arts and has been able to hand-pick his opponents over the last few years.
UFC president Dana White claims McGregor is "obsessed" with facing Poirier again and the duo appear to be on course to meet in the Octagon for a third time.
