Conor McGregor has been offered a few tips on how to counteract the problem which led to his defeat against Dustin Poirier back in January.
The Irishman was convincingly beaten by Poirier in the rematch to their 2014 bout, setting things up for a trilogy decider. Poirier knocked McGregor out in the second round of their Las Vegas showdown, but it was his vicious leg kicks which caused his opponent the most issue and left him on crutches following the bout.
McGregor simply had no answer to the persistent attacks on his leading leg, which eventually gave way as Poirier moved in for the kill.
