Dustin Poirier has confirmed negotiations are underway to set up a third Octagon meeting with Conor McGregor. Poirier, 32, stunned McGregor, 32, to inflict the first knockout loss of the Irishman's career in a lightweight bout at UFC 257 in January.
The fight took place over six years on from the duo's featherweight clash at UFC 178 in 2014, which McGregor won via first-round TKO.
Both Poirier and McGregor have made no secret of their desire to arrange a trilogy fight to determine the victor of their rivalry.
