However, the last City player who hailed from the same shores as the imperious striker was part of a group of players who caused national shame and embarrassment.Most City fans would struggle to remember former youth team ace Eirki Johansen, who came through the academy ranks but never made his senior debut for the club.

The incident took place hours after Brann lost a behind closed-door game to FK Fyllingsdale, a side who were in the fourth division, 3-1.However, a comfortable defeat dealt by a side three divisions below them was not even the most embarrassing moment to happen to those players that very evening.
