Barry Ferguson believes there was a lack of responsibility among the Rangers team after they were on the end of an astonishing 7-1 loss to Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Light Blues went in at half time with the scoreline 1-1 but completely capitulated in the second half as the English Premier League giants giants scored six goals without reply, including a six minute and 12 second hat-trick from substitute Mo Salah.
And the former Ibrox captain told the Go Radio Football Show that he was left astonished at the way Gio van Bronckhorst's men allowed the last third of the game to pan out. "I think it was the manner of the defeat to Liverpool," said Ferguson. "It was conceding the goals in the short period of time.
When you are in a game and when you are in the moment you have got to realise that. You have got to take responsibility on the pitch and think to yourself 'we are too wide open here.
