The 29-year-old collapsed on the pitch during the first half of the fixture, and received quick medical treatment from teammates and medics at the stadium.
Fans watched on as he was stretchered off the pitch and taken to hospital. On Sunday morning (June 13) the Danish FA said the player had been in touch with his teammates and would be kept in hospital to be monitored.
In a press conference in Copenhagen, they provided details about what caused his collapse on Saturday (June 12), the Mirror reports.
