The mistress of cold blooded killer Christopher Watts has applied to change her name, two years after coming forward to confess they'd been having an affair.
Nichol Kessinger helped police with their investigation after Watts was arrested for the murder of his pregnant wife and two daughters.
Kessinger told officers as much as she could about the man she'd been having a relationship and Weld County District Attorney Michael Rourke has since said the information she gave them was "bombshell".
Now Nichol, 32, has applied for a name change in Jefferson County, Colorado. A hearing has been set for Thursday, according to the Daily Mail.
