Cheltenham Festival is upon us after a week that has, ahem, galloped by.Day four is sure to be full of even more drama as Minella Indo returns for the defence of the horse racing's prestigious Gold Cup.The nine-year-old looks one of the favourites to reclaim the crown as trainer Henry De Bromhead searches for a repeat triumph in one of the country's best-known races.History could be made as twice winner Al Boum Photo goes for a third victory, last winning in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

Only four horses have ever won the Gold Cup three times.So what time is the famous race and who are the ones to watch?Runners will be in the starting gates ready to burst out onto the Cheltenham course at 3:30pm on Friday March 18 2022.The Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup is the biggest event held at the festival, but there are plenty of races for punters to choose from.The schedule is as follows:With jockey Rachael Blackmore in the saddle, A Plus Tard is this year's favourite to take the Gold Cup title.Blackmore has been in fine form in recent years, winning last year's Grand National.Ladbrokes has placed her and A Plus Tard at 5/2 to win.
