dailystar.co.ukChelsea could still end up letting Olivier Giroud go this summer despite signing a contract extension. The Blues were facing a mini exodus in terms of player contracts at the end of June.
Willian, Pedro, Giroud and Willy Caballero were all coming to the final dates in their contracts. That was until the latter two signed extensions to their deals that will keep them at Stamford Bridge for another season.
It leaves the former two staring at the exit door - though it does not exactly mean that the other pair have concrete futures.
Giroud was being linked with switches to the likes of Inter Milan and Tottenham in January. It came amid a necessity for more first-team football, with Tammy Abraham ahead of him in the starting line-up.
