Chelsea ban season ticket holder for life after cameras catch racist abuse vs Tottenham

Chelsea have indefinitely banned a supporter following an incident of racist abuse aimed toward Tottenham player Son Heung-min.The Blues drew 2-2 with Spurs on August 14 at Stamford Bridge when the incident occurred, with the game being shown live on Sky Sports.

The supporter had been seen on TV cameras aiming racist abuse at Son as the South Korean international went to take a corner at the Shed End of Stamford Bridge.Chelsea said: "Following our statement this week on racist abuse at the Tottenham game last Sunday, Chelsea Football Club can confirm that it has identified and banned a season ticket holder indefinitely."READ MORE: Expensive Premier League flops who returned to former clubs - from Balotelli to Werner Earlier in the week, Chelsea had released a separate statement condemning the abuse that Son had received during the clash.It read: "Chelsea Football Club finds any form of discriminatory behaviour totally abhorrent.
