Black Lives Matter protesters pulled down the Bristol city centre monument to him on June 7. A passer-by, speaking to the Bristol Post, said the sculpture was “really striking, and quite poignant after the events of the weekend. "There were lots of people stopping and looking and taking photos,” she.
