Charles Leclerc took full responsibility after his crash out of the lead at the French Grand Prix dealt a devastating blow to his F1 title hopes. The Ferrari star, who took pole position on Saturday, kept championship leader Max Verstappen at bay early in the race and looked on course to make it back-to-back wins after his victory in Austria two weeks ago. That was until Leclerc slid off the track and into the barriers at around 100mph, gifting the lead to Verstappen, who went on to win an action-packed race.
