Cesc Fabregas has named Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho as the best managers he has ever worked under - leaving former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola out in the cold.
The Spaniard started his professional career under Wenger at Arsenal, making 303 appearances for the Gunners after making his debut at the tender age of 16 in 2003.
Eight years later, though, Guardiola and European champions Barca came calling, with Fabregas leaving north London to play alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta.
Yet despite getting his hands on the Spanish title in his second season at the Nou Camp, the midfielder was often deployed in an unfamiliar false-nine role by Guardiola - which failed to play to his strengths.
