The attack came after Melania gave the closing speech at the Republican National Convention at the White House on Tuesday night.
Following the First Lady's address, republican pundit DeAnna Lorraine tweeted: America needs more women like Melania Trump and far less like Cardi B." Cardi immediately hit back by reposting the tweet and asking: "Didn't she [Melania] used to sell that WAP" - referencing the sexual meaning behind her raunchy new single.
