A distraught holidaymaker returning from a five-day trip abroad to find his £65,000 Mercedes stripped by car cannibals. Jay Tranter, 36, left his treasured motor with a meet and greet parking firm near Birmingham Airport.
The 36-year-old, from Halesowen, returned to the UK with partner Agne Kinduryte, 32, to find his AMG GT totally dismantled. The bonnet, lights, engine parts and its numberplate were all missing, report Birmingham Live.
The managing director said the damage could total up to £20,000 - and fears he will not be able to afford the insurance premium.
Mr Tranter paid £52.94 for a meet and greet service at 4am on July 8 with a company called Car Parking Birmingham Airport, which is registered as Car Park Birmingham Ltd at
