Canelo Alvarez has slammed Billy Joe Saunders' "excuses" ahead of their fight on Saturday. The Mexican is targeting the 56th win of his professional career against the undefeated British boxer.
Saunders and his camp came out and expressed their concern over the size of the ring insisting their demands had not been met.
Eddie Hearn, who represents both fighters, was accused of "working against us at every opportunity" by the Saunders camp as they threatened to fly home before the changes were made.
But Canelo insists his opponent will have to come up with "other excuses" amid suggestions the Mexican will be dealt a boxing lesson. "He thinks he’ll give me a boxing lesson?,” said Alvarez. "We’ll see.
