camels and llama took the phrase a nighttime stroll literally.The animals were discovered walking the streets of Madrid in the middle of the night after escaping from a circus, police have said.Quiros Circus, their owner, claimed the bizarre escape was 'sabotage' by animal rights activists.The furry creatures were seen walking around at approximately 5am local time in the southern district of Carabanchel.They were found not far from where the circus, their home, is based.Police stayed nearby, took care of them so they could be returned "safe and sound".Mati Munoz, Circus manager, told AFP the electric fence around the animals' enclosure had been cut.He blamed animal activists who he claimed protested against the circus every year.Munoz.
