A 16-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a car crash last night (November 27). The youngster was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved, a Toyota Avensis.

Emergency services were called to Parkhills Road in Bury just before 9.30pm on Saturday night. Police said the teenager, who hasn't been named, remained in a 'serious condition' in hospital today, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
