While supermarkets have experienced empty shelves for weeks, panic-buyers have now taken it upon themselves to spill into small, regional towns across Victoria and NSW to take their supplies.
Grant Denyer, who lives in rural Bathurst, NSW recently posted on his Facebook page describing his outrage on the effect its had on his own community: "This is crazy," he writes. "We had two bus loads of people from Sydney storm the town and raid our three supermarkets which were already depleted. "They also hit Orange and Lithgow. "If we're patient, there's plenty for everyone.
