Bury man, 31, who played 'loud pop music' all day has TV and speakers confiscated

A noisy tenant who repeatedly ignored complaints from neighbours during the lockdown has had his TVs and speakers confiscated.The 31-year-old man was regularly causing a nuisance by playing "loud pop music" throughout the day and into the evening, Bury Council says.He was sent a notice by the authority's environmental health team but when the letter was ignored they took further action.Investigators began to monitor the house and took recordings which showed an inconsistent pattern of loud music that left residents anxious and unable to relax in their own homes.The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been repeatedly warned about his behaviour by Six Town Housing – the group which manages properties on behalf of Bury Council -.
