Britney Spears' dad has hit out at the #FreeBritney campaign targeted at him. Jamie Spears has called the internet movement a "conspiracy theory" and said its backers don't understand what's really going on in his daughter's life.
Fans behind #FreeBritney believe that the singer, 38, is being controlled emotionally and financially in her 12-year-long conservatorship, which Jamie and other management staff hold over her.
