THOSE who tuned in to Scarlett Moffatt's brand new documentary have been left feeling a bit confused. The presenter, 31, has been experiencing facial tics since the age of 12, and admitted on her new show, Scarlett Moffatt Investigates: Britain's Tourette Mystery, that the scariest part for her was not being able to find answers.
Back in the late 90s, when Scarlett first developed the tics, not much was known about Tourettes. At the time, all that was widely reported about were the offensive verbal tics, which not everyone with Tourettes does.
The star has also previously had Bell's Palsy, which is a temporary weakness or lack of movement affecting one side of the face.
