One Twitter user voiced her approval, writing: "I love the fact he casually downed a jägerbomb live on the BBC at 11am in the morning." It comes as boozers brace for their busiest night of the year, with businesses allowed to open their doors for the first time since March.
But with the R rate now feared to be above 1 in London - meaning the number of new Covid-19 cases could be rising - experts have called on boozers to be careful.
