Bridget Jones has been named as the most inspiring movie heroine ahead of International Women’s Day. The research, conducted via OnePoll and comissioned by Sky Cinema found that the well-loved character, who is played by Renee Zellweger, 50, topped the poll of 2,000 adults - and seven in 10 polled believe that it's a “good thing” for there to be more films that feature leading ladies.
The romantic comedy follows the story of a single woman who is struggling with stuggles in life with her relationships, family drama and career struggles - which are all things that are very relatable to people watching the film.
Erin Brockovich, played by Julia Roberts, in the autobiographical tale of an American legal clerk who fights for justice was placed.
