Bridgerton author Julia Quinn is yet to see the scripts for the second series of the Netflix show based on her novels. The American romance writer, 51, says she is "so happy" with the series - that has drawn attention for its sex-filled scenes and scandalous storylines as well as the genetically-blessed cast - even though the TV adaptation differs from the books.
The TV show that is produced by Shonda Rhimes’ company, Shondaland, is set to return on the streaming platform after fans fell in love with watching the Bridgerton brood navigate through London's high society in the Regency era.
