Bollywood legend Rishi Kapoor has died at a Mumbai hospital. Rishi was 67 at the time of his death and had been part of the Kapoor family, who had dominated the Hindi film industry - cementing his name.
He burst onto the Bollywood film scene in 1970 playing his father in child form before getting his first lead role in the 1973 hit film Bobby.
Throughout his career which spanned across two decades, he had frequently played the romantic lead before making the move to character roles.
Rishi was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, returning to India in September 2019 after a year-long treatment programme in New York.
