Naman Ramachandran The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has tapped Australia as its Country of Focus for its upcoming 55th edition, set to run Nov.
20-28 in Goa. The selection comes on the heels of a recently ratified audiovisual coproduction treaty between the two nations.
The FIAPF-recognized festival will showcase seven Australian films, spotlighting work from both indigenous and contemporary filmmakers.
Oscar-winning cinematographer John Seale (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The English Patient”) will deliver a masterclass as part of the Australian delegation.
