Breakfasts that could be stopping you from losing weight, according to NHS warning

The NHS has issued a warning to families and individuals who indulge in sugary and fatty breakfasts each morning. Eating these breakfasts can easily lead to consuming too many calories without realising.With most of the UK’s adults consuming too many “free sugars” each day, the NHS has flagged up one common culprit - breakfast cereals.

Free sugars are the sugars added to food and drink - including cereals, fizzy drink, biscuits, chocolate, and flavoured yoghurt.

The NHS has suggested healthier swaps to replace your sugar-and-fat-packed breakfasts.
