Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American filmmaker, actor, film programmer, and cinema owner.
His films are characterized by nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, aestheticization of violence, extended scenes of dialogue, ensemble casts, references to popular culture and a wide variety of other films, soundtracks primarily containing songs and score pieces from the 1960s to the 1980s, alternate history, and features of neo-noir film.
Hollywood always wants Brad Pitt, but following his Best Supporting Actor Oscar win for Quentin Tarantino‘s “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood,” the actor seems even more in demand and also willing to try new things outside of his usual drama realm.
The actor recently signed on to Sony‘s action film, “Bullet Train” from director David Leitch (“Atomic Blonde“) and another big project from “Spider-Man” franchise filmmaker Jon Watts (“Cop Car“) co-starring longtime pal George Clooney.
