Boy, 10, 'lured into car and driven off by man who asked if he wanted free kitten'

A 10-year-old boy was allegedly lured into a car by a man who asked him if he wanted a free kitten. The youngster's older brother saw him enter the vehicle at around 2.45pm yesterday and followed it to a nearby community centre in Aylesbury, Bucks.

The victim was then let out, with police arresting a 22-year-old man from Birmingham on suspicion of kidnapping. A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "It happened at around 2.45pm yesterday (18/8) in Berryfield Road.

The victim, a 10-year-old boy was approached by the offender in a car and asked if he wanted a free kitten. "The boy got into the car, believed to be a small red Toyota. "The victim’s brother saw this and followed the car where it was driven to the Meadowcroft Community Centre car
