A 10-year-old boy who was killed by a dog suffered 'unsurvivable severe injuries to his head and neck', an inquest opening was told today.
It comes as Jack Lis's heartbroken mother paid touching tribute to her son, saying: "We love him more than words can describe." Jack tragically died following the dog attack at a house in Caerphilly, Wales, on Monday.
BBC Wales reported a provisional cause of death was given as 'severe injuries to the head and neck' during the opening of an inquest at Newport Coroners' Court, reports Wales Online.
The hearing was reportedly told Jack was outside his house playing before going into a friend's house. Upon entering, he was 'attacked by a dog'.
