Dramatic pictures from the seafront show thick black smoke billowing into the afternoon sky on the south coast.The flames are seen to be creeping up the cliff face, just yards from homes.Dorset Police urged people to stay away from the beach."Please avoid the area of the West Cliff lift on Bournemouth’s West Cliff following a beach hut fire, which has spread to nearby beach huts and is moving up the cliff" the force tweeted."A cordon is in place.
