Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Luke Shaw will miss the club's remaining run in the Europa League through injury.
Shaw has missed United's last four games after sustaining an ankle injury in their dramatic 2-2 draw against Southampton earlier this month.Academy graduates Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Brandon Williams have filled the void at left-back and they are set to continue there when United resume their Europa League campaign.Speaking to MUTV, Solskjaer confirmed that Shaw's injury means his season is over, saying: "Luke will be out until next season, that’s a blow for him and a blow for us because he’s been fantastic."They are due to face LASK Linz at Old Trafford on August 5 in their last-16 second leg tie.
