The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Ministers are said to have given investment the thumbs up, with plans to be revealed within days, reports The Sun. It comes as President Trump told reporters abroad Air Force One on Friday that he would be using emergency powers to outlaw TikTok in the US.
Over the last several months, US officials have repeatedly said TikTok, under its current Chinese parent company, Beijing-based software firm ByteDance, poses a national risk because of the personal data it handles.
