A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the deadly stabbing spree in Birmingham, say police.
The man was taken into custody at an address in Selly Oak at about 4am on Monday - more than 24 hours after the attack. The arrest came after police released CCTV footage of a male they wanted to speak to.
He remains in police custody for questioning over the knife rampage that left a 23-year-old man dead and seven other people injured in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A 19-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman remain in a critical condition in hospital. Five others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
