Billy Gilmour has demanded both he and his team-mates become more clinical or risk getting caught out. The midfielder missed a big chance in the second half while the likes of Andy Robertson, Kieran Tierney, Ryan Christie and Grant Hanley also missed glorious opportunities to put the game out of side.
It was Lyndon Dykes who got the only goal of the game in the first half and it looked like Scotland could go on and score quite a few goals.
But it ended up being a nervy finish as Moldova pushed for an equaliser, although Steve Clarke's men held on to keep their World Cup dreams alive.
