Balloons cascaded from the ceiling as noughties heartthrobs McFly took to the stage with a few of their classic tracks, joined by a number of NHS and key worker who gave the boys some backing vocals.
After the band were done, the audience - watching from home - and the judges were up on their feet applauding. Ant & Dec waded toward the boys through the balloons - Dec getting a bit excited and accidentally booting one into a nurse's face.
