Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

BEN Shephard was back on Good Morning Britain today after taking time off for a gory operation on his leg following a horror accident.

The 46-year-old star suffered a nasty injury during a football match last month, where he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament, tore his meniscus, and fractured his leg.

He appeared alongside co-host Susanna Reid this morning, where he opened up about his medical issues while she revealed he had his leg propped up on a stool.

Ben told his co-star: "This knee here, I ruptured… I've had an operation to repair it all, and do you know what, it was only when I explained it to Dr Hilary when we were on air [that I realised it was serious]." Thanking well-wishers for the support, he joked: "It's been lovely to.
