Screen Media has picked up the U.S. rights to Chad Faust’s revenge thriller Girl, which is toplined by The Duff star Bella Thorne.
Writer/director Faust's feature directorial debut will bow at Fantastic Fest later this week, ahead of a day-and-date release in November.
Faust (The 4400) also stars in the film shot in northern Ontario. Thorne plays a young woman who returns to her small hometown intent on killing her abusive father, only to discover someone else got to him first.
As she searches for answers, the young woman uncovers a family legacy more dangerous than imagined. The ensemble cast includes Mickey Rourke, Glenn Gould, Lanette Ware and Elizabeth Saunders.
