A new 'front-runner' has emerged in Strictly Come Dancing as it appears a show favourite is at risk of heading home this weekend.
Week eight of the BBC One dance contest will see the nine remaining couples once again take the dance floor. On Saturday night (November 9), there is no theme to distract the couples after two in a row - the Halloween special and the first-ever Icons Week - and they'll be sure to be fighting for their place in the competition ahead of next weekend's Blackpool special.
It ended up being a rollercoaster of a night last Saturday on the dance floor with JB Gill bouncing back from a partner swap as he performed with new dance partner Lauren Oakley to achieve his highest score of the series so far while Pete Wicks was left apologising to Jowita Przystal as their performance landed them bottom of the leaderboard. Starting with JB and Lauren and they'll be performing a Samba to Mas Que Nada by Sergio Mendes while Pete and Jowita will aim to bounce back with a couple's choice routine to The Best by Nicotine Dolls.
