EastEnders favourite Jamie Borthwick, who's known for his role as Jay Brown, has been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing just before the quarter-finals.The 30-year-old actor and his dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas were in the bottom two against Olympian Montell Douglas and her pro partner Johannes Radebe in Sunday's tense results show.
Despite a charming foxtrot to Ben E King's classic 'Stand By Me', which earned them a score of 32, it wasn't enough to keep them in the competition.
Judge Anton Du Beke praised Jamie's dancing but suggested he needed to be more "ridiculous" and "over the top". Montell and Johannes, on the other hand, repeated their quickstep to Ella Fitzgerald's 'Get Happy', having previously scored 37, with Du Beke calling it their best dance yet.
Craig Revel Horwood had some critiques, noting it started "a bit stiff" but later admitted the dynamics were "out of this world".
